My name is Peony!

From the rough roads of Maypearl TX, Peony has never known the true love of human companionship, but that’s all changed since arriving at Flying B. Abandoned with her mom and sister and once skittish and fearful, Peony is young enough to take the risk for pets and cuddles. She is learning that humans can be kind and provide her all the things she needs to thrive.

Peony greets us with wiggles and little barks when we come home. She is really warming up and learning that being held for a cuddle isn’t so bad. Peony is never one to miss a treat and will happily crate for one.

She does well with dogs of all sizes after she’s had an appropriate introduction and knows they aren’t a danger to her - she arrived with a couple of small minor wounds so obviously had a less than great experience in the wild.

Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers. We just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period.
