Meet Mac, a handsome tabby boy with a heart as warm as his name! Estimated DOB 7/1/25, Mac is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. He loves people, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and settles in quickly once he feels comfortable. Confident, curious, and always ready for his next adventure, Mac is the kind of kitten who will keep you smiling all day long.
Mac and his sister, Cheese, were found as tiny kittens on the South Side of Chicago after their mother tragically passed away. Thanks to rescue and lots of love, he’s grown into a healthy, happy youngster with a big personality.
Though Mac and Cheese are siblings and adore spending time together, they are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. That said, Mac would be thrilled to have his sister or another friendly cat to play with in his new home. Mac is also comfortable around dogs and would do well in a lively, loving household. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten with charm to spare, Mac is your guy!
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

Interview
Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

Home Check
We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
4.
Approve Application
Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
