My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Taz! 🐾

Taz is a spunky, affectionate 6-year-old guy who came to us when his owner could no longer care for him due to her own health issues. He’s a friendly, outgoing cat who truly enjoys people and would make a wonderful companion.

Taz loves his wet food, enjoys playing with toys, and can often be found basking in a sunny spot after climbing to the very top of his cat tree—one of his favorite pastimes! He has excellent litter box manners and an easygoing personality that makes him a great choice for a first-time cat owner.

Taz is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has had full bloodwork. He’s a healthy boy with no known medical issues and is ready to find his forever home.

If you’re interested in adopting Taz, please email tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com
or complete an adoption application here:

Taz is ready to bring love, sunshine naps, and plenty of personality into his new home! 🐱💛

Go meet their pets

We are a small rescue without a facility so we rely on volunteers to temporarily house the animals until adopted. Because the animals are in private foster homes, we need to make arrangements for a visit to happen. Please email us for further information. Additionally, we have adoption events throughout the year - check out our Facebook for a current listings. We do private adoption visits with approved applicants.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Since we help people receiving hospice care, heading into nursing homes, or families after the pet owner died, we often receive older animals. WE value older animals and cherish all that they can offer to their new family. We do not have a physical facility, so we rely on volunteers to foster the pets in their home until they are adopted.
