My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Black cats are the best—and Haze is proof! 🐾

Haze is a 3-year-old bundle of fun who still thinks he’s a kitten. He’s full of energy, loves chasing toys, and is always ready for playtime. Just as much as he loves to play, Haze loves people and is quick to greet you with affection and attention.

He has lived successfully with other cats and small dogs, has excellent litter box habits, and would be a great match for a first-time cat owner.

Haze is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has had full bloodwork. He’s a healthy, happy boy who is ready to find his forever home.

Meet the Pet

We will have the foster parent available if possible when you meet the animal so you can get further information about the pets day to day.

4.

Take the Pet Home

The dog or cat comes with instructions from the foster parent so you can continue their routine.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out (available at www.tysonsplacerescue.org). If you have a dog at home and want to adopt a dog, we would require that the dogs meet prior to adoption. Our dog adoption fee ranges from $75 to $175 based on age, and our cat adoption fee is $40.

Go meet their pets

We are a small rescue without a facility so we rely on volunteers to temporarily house the animals until adopted. Because the animals are in private foster homes, we need to make arrangements for a visit to happen. Please email us for further information. Additionally, we have adoption events throughout the year - check out our Facebook for a current listings. We do private adoption visits with approved applicants.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Since we help people receiving hospice care, heading into nursing homes, or families after the pet owner died, we often receive older animals. WE value older animals and cherish all that they can offer to their new family. We do not have a physical facility, so we rely on volunteers to foster the pets in their home until they are adopted.
