My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fallon, this lovable girl is around 5 months old and weighs 35 lbs. This sweet girl loves to please her person, she is eager to learn and is a smart girl. Fallon lives with other dogs and cats and does well with all of them. She is crate trained and doing great with the house training. Does great with children. This girl would do great as a running or hiking partner. Fallon deserves a loving home, so if you are interested, please inquire and we can get you an application sent right over.

The money collected covers any medical treatments the dog may have had while in our care. All of our dogs are altered (spayed/neutered), have had all shots (age appropriate in the case of puppies) including Bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, and the distemper/parvo series. Dogs have been heart worm screened and are heart worm negative, have had a clear fecal exam and are up to date on Frontline and Heartgard. Adopters will receive copies of all vet records, rabies certification, and tags. The adoption fee also covers all transport and health certificate costs we incur. Dogs from out of state travel on USDA inspected humane, healthy, & sanitary animal transport professionals.
Disclaimer: Please note that the breeds posted on our dogs' biographies are our best guess based on years of working with rescue dogs. Adopters who need to know the exact breed or mix of breeds of a particular dog must have the dog's DNA tested at their own expense.

More about this rescue

Emily's Friends Rescue Group  is a charitable organization dedicated to rescuing homeless companion animals. We particularly try and take in dogs from high-kill shelters, assist owners who can no longer care for their animals as well as animals in abusive or neglectful situations.

Working with loyal volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue many animals each year. We provide them with food, nurture,  love and medical attention while they are in our temporary care.  We then find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

All animals are  spayed or neutered and brought up-to-date on shots before being placed in their new homes. We support and promote spaying and neutering of all cats and dogs to help control the pet overpopulation and promote education of the public about responsible pet ownership.
