Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Squilliam Fancyson is a gentle soul with only a dash of mischief. Squilliam can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a bit of time and he blossoms. Once he warms up, he happily accepts pets, cuddles, and quiet companionship.
His foster describes him perfectly: “This is the sweetest, most adorable rabbit you will meet. He likes your affection and attention. Everything he does is cute.” Squilliam is mellow and inquisitive, often choosing a shady, cozy spot to lounge while keeping an eye on the world around him. He is curious around cats and enjoys calmly observing his surroundings.
Despite his refined name, Squilliam has a playful sense of humor. He likes to be a little mischievous, picking up items with his mouth and flinging them around for fun. He also loves burrowing under blankets and will happily make himself a nest wherever he can. When he gets excited, he does the most charming hops straight up in the air, like he is bouncing on a trampoline.
Squilliam is very well mannered at home. He uses his litter box reliably, even when out exploring. He does gnaw on his cage at times but does not try to force his way out or get destructive elsewhere.
Food wise, Squilliam is a bit of a gentleman. He is not a big eater and can be indifferent to hay, greens, and pellets, but treats are another story and definitely the way to his heart. He also sheds quite a bit, so regular brushing will help keep him comfortable and looking his best.
Squilliam may occasionally give gentle little nibbles on your arm or neck when held close, especially early on, but with trust he becomes very tolerant of handling and enjoys being petted and cuddled. If you are looking for a sweet, mellow bunny with adorable quirks and a soft spot for affection, Squilliam Fancyson might just be your perfect match.
Squilliam Fancyson is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
