My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuddly beauty seeking her forever friend! Evelina landed at PAWS after being abandoned at PAC with another cat (Cali Biscuits), but she will quickly become your shadow if you earn her trust. One of Evelina's favorite pastimes is curling up in your lap while purring contentedly. Second to this is catnip (this girl must have two dominant catnip genes). And chasing her favorite toys.

Evelina is an incredibly social girl, but she likes to have a calm environment without too many surprises. She will follow you from room to room, but needs time to warm up to strangers. She also sets very clear boundaries, even with those she loves, so it's best to let her take the lead with cuddling. Since she previously lived with another cat, she will likely do well in a family with one or more other relatively chill kitties. She seems to co-regulate with friends, and doesn't like to be alone too much. At the same time, she can get overstimulated quickly, so she always wants to be the one to make the first move in any interaction and will need you to respect her space even after she's opened up to you. As a result, Evelina should be in a home without small children and would do well with a more experienced cat owner.

Evelina can be adopted as a pair with Cali Biscuits (A180867), or consider matchmaking her with another more relaxed kitty who can help her to feel as safe and calm as she deserves.
