“Come hither, mere human. You know you can’t resist the urge to stroke these luxurious locks. The struggle is real!” Smitten is a low-key reserved young feline, certain to fit nicely on laps big and small. Her stunning good looks and velveteen fur will captivate you and her gentle demeanor will quickly seal the deal. Give her a moment or two, and she will cast off her shy demeanor and win your heart forevermore. Due to her shyness, she would do best in a quiet home without too much activity. She was found outside looking for food but after a few weeks of feeding her, she was friendly and able to be picked up and placed into a carrier. We suspect she may have been dumped. She was not spayed or microchipped. Due to her shyness, she doesn't eat well the first few days in a new place and starting her out in a small space like a bathroom is advised until she gets to know you.
Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet or meet her at our weekly adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm, at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
