My name is Cocoa!

Dear Santa,

My name is Cocoa, and this year I found myself all alone, wandering the streets of Sumter. I was cold, hungry, and covered in fleas — and I didn’t really understand why no one was looking for me.

But then something really good happened, a nice man took me in and gave me to Lucky Paws Rescue. They gave me a warm bath, yummy food, and took me to the vet to make sure I was okay. For the first time in a long while, I felt safe.

Santa, I’m still just a little guy, and I’m learning what it means to be loved. If I could ask for one thing this Christmas, it wouldn’t be toys or treats (though I wouldn’t say no ). I’d wish for a family of my own — one that sees me not as a stray, but as a best friend.

I promise to be loyal, grateful, and love with my whole heart. I’ve already learned how special it feels to belong, and I can’t wait to feel that forever.
