Do we even need to say it....LOOK AT THIS SQUISHY BEAUTY!!! For starters if there was contest for cutest/most adorable/best personality/most gorgeous eyes, Callie Berry would win it by a landslide. She’s more than your adorable squishy cutie patootie looks though. She is very dog friendly, wonderful around kids, loves toys, is affectionate and the list can go on. Better hurry and snatch this cutie up because she won’t be available for long.

Callie Berry is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 50lbs. Don’t let her pictures fool you though, this girl is little and would definitely pass the itty bitty pittie test. She is not too big and not too small, she’s just the right size. Callie is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
While Callie waits for her forever family, she is being spoiled by her foster family and they absolutely adore her and rave about her. She is currently fostered in a home with three kids ages 2,3, and 8. Callie has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in her foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and she loves being apart of a family dynamic. Callie is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. She has no issues when the kids are playing with her toys, doesn't jump on them, and even lets them use her as their own personal pillow. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Callie is definitely your girl!
Not only is Callie incredibly sweet and would make a great addition for a family with kids, but she is also super dog friendly and has gotten along great with every dog we have introduced her to. She’s been with super dominant males, dominant females, dogs that like to roughhouse, play chase, dogs that just like to hangout and do their own thing, and she’s been a perfect princess with them all. She does great meeting dogs on leash and even does great meeting dogs off leash as well. When she first meets a dog she will crouch down and make her self as small as possible until it’s time to meet and then it’s game over and she is immediately their best friend. Callie is a social little butterfly and already has amazing social skills with other dogs. She is good about matching the energy of the other dogs. She will play when play is invited, will play hard, and have the best time. Callie will also enjoy those relaxing hangout moments too. Her play style is still very much puppy-like in the sense that it’s bouncy, a little mouthy, loves to wrestle, and also enjoys a game of tag you’re it from time to time too. Callie is respectful around the dogs that aren’t the playful type and has no problem doing her own thing or going and finding a friend that will play with her. Callie shares affection with other dogs too, no jealousy here and she also is comfortable sharing treats around other dogs as well. She's just a happy sweet baby that has a such a go with the flow personality. We would love to see her in a home with another dog she can grow up with and a playmate but she would be completely fine as your one and only as well.
Callie met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and very respectful around him. She really liked the way that he smelled, probably because she has never really smelled or seen a cat before. It was all knew to her. Even with that, she did not chase Biggie and he felt comfortable around her too. She did follow him around and at one point she gave him a play bow which was super cute. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know!
When it comes to training, Callie loves treats, is eager to please, and she takes treats so gently. Almost to the point to where you have to physically place the treat right into her mouth. It’s super sweet. She already knows how to sit, lay down,s crate and potty trained, walks well on a leash, and has great house manners. She will be a great dog to take with you on hikes, walks at the park, or even staying back and having a lazy rainy day. Callie has the type of energy that adjusts to whatever you need from her. She is very adaptable. We can see her thriving in a home with a backyard where she can zoom around, play with toys or her new doggy sibling, and sunbathe during those nice summer days. She loves people and is a social butterfly, so if you're someone that likes to host, have friends over for backyard BBQ's, Callie will be right there in the midst of all the entertainment. I'm sure she will be one of the main talking points in all your conversations as well.
We are willing to test Callie Berry with anything you need to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
