Lilly is a loving, gentle girl with a sweet spirit and a heart full of affection. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash—though she occasionally needs a little encouragement to get moving on walks, which only adds to her charm.
This social butterfly adores other dogs and has played beautifully with every pup she’s ever met. She doesn’t have a single mean bone in her body. She currently lives with four cats and does great with them as well. While she hasn’t been around children yet, her soft, friendly nature shines through with both people and animals.
Lilly is happiest when she’s close to someone—whether that’s a human or another dog. She loves to nap snuggled up next to you, always wanting to be near her people. She knows how to sit when food or treats are involved, though she doesn’t fully know the command yet and will benefit from a bit more training. Her current family simply doesn’t have the time she deserves to help her grow, but she has all the potential to learn quickly with consistency and love.

We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter.
