This handsome guy came in as a stray on 12/11/25, and we think he’s about 6 years old. Ridge is an absolute sweetheart—very friendly, full of charm, and sporting the best smile you’ll see all day. 😊
Ridge is a bit too thin right now, so he’s looking for a loving home that’s ready to spoil him with some extra groceries and TLC to help him get back to his best self. He’s ready to trade shelter life for a warm couch, good meals, and lots of love.

All adoptions are $199.00. Adoptions include the following: Vaccines, microchip, Current dog license, spay/neuter, de-worming medication.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
