My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Francis!
Francis is an amazing five-year-old boy who's ready to find the forever home he truly deserves. After spending years living on a chain outside, he's blossomed in his loving foster home and is showing just how special he really is.
This sweet, affectionate boy loves being close to his people and has wonderful manners—he's both house-trained and kennel-trained. Francis has done great with other dogs and enjoys getting out for walks, where he does well on a leash.
He's resilient, loving, and so ready for his next chapter.
If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Francis is your guy.

We are based in San Antonio, Texas and transport to adopters all over the US.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit foster-based rescue in San Antonio, Texas. Our mission is to get as many dogs to their forever homes. With the surge in stray population in our city, we work hard to look for adopters in other parts of the country. Our dogs are saved from rehoming situations, they are strays, many coming from kill shelters, and at times, they are born in our care after rescuing a pregnant mom. We are firm believers that all dogs, no matter age, health condition, breed or color, deserve the opportunity to be saved.
