Hello everyone, we are the dynamic duo of Butters & Toast. We were recently surrendered to the local shelter when our family could no longer care for us or no longer wanted us. The shelter reached out to the rescue and that is how we ended up here.
Butters the dwarf and male of the bonded pair is sooo tiny and adorable but very protective of his bun wife Toast. It is the most adorable and precious thing to watch as he grooms and watches out for her no matter where she goes. Toast is a big bunny in comparison to him at about 5 lbs but she looks to him for comfort and protection. Both buns have been spayed and neutered and both buns are litterbox trained. These two are very very bonded and must be adopted together.
They are friendly, active buns but as most dwarf breed rabbits because of their size they can be easily injured so we want to be cautious to make sure the proper home is found.
They are eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that is changed and cleaned daily. They love romaine lettuce, parsley and carrot tops and also enjoy their treats and banana is definitely at the top of that list.

All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and agree to provide a forever indoor home for their bun. Single bunnies are 85.00 and bonded buns are 150.00. If for any reason you are not able to keep the bun they are to be returned to the rescue.

They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
