Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Piggy! 🐷💖🐾
Miss Piggy is a beautiful 4-month-old Akita puppy with an adorable face and a very big future ahead of her—this sweet girl is going to be GIANT when she’s fully grown! Right now she’s all fluff, puppy curiosity, and charm, but she will grow into a large, powerful dog who will need commitment, structure, and guidance.
Because of her breed and size potential, Miss Piggy would thrive in a home with Akita or large-breed experience, or adopters who are ready and willing to learn. Early, positive socialization is essential, and she would ideally go to a home with other dogs, cats, and kids to help her grow into a well-rounded, confident adult dog.
Miss Piggy is affectionate, smart, and ready to bond deeply with her forever family. With consistency, training, and lots of love, she has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion.
💖🐾 Miss Piggy is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and loving home that understands the joy—and responsibility—of raising a giant-breed puppy. If you’re ready for the adventure, Miss Piggy is ready for you!

More about this shelter
The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.
As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
