This sweet girl was found abandoned at a lake on November 30th, cold, hungry, emaciated, and scared. We immediately took her to the vet to be scanned for a microchip and checked for injuries or illness. After receiving fluids, she was given a clean bill of health. The vet confirmed she is not spayed, weighed about 29 lbs, is estimated to be around a year old, and has scarring on her legs consistent with being crated for long periods of time.
We brought her home, where she spent her first two days resting on our couch. Since then, she has made an incredible turnaround and has gained over 8 lbs. She is now thriving and doing very well.
Unfortunately, we are out of options to continue caring for her in our home and urgently need help. She is friendly, calm, great with other dogs and kids, dog door potty trained, crate trained, and truly just wants human companionship.
