Profile and Pics

Catch of the Day: Guppy & Minnow!
DOB: 8/19/25
Guppy and Minnow are two adorable tabby sisters who complement each other beautifully and are ready to bring love and fun to their forever home.
Guppy (female, brown tabby/tuxedo)
Bursting with upbeat, happy energy and a love for adventure

Friendly, outgoing, and always ready to explore

Loves playing with toy mice — perfectly content entertaining herself, but even happier when someone tosses them for her to chase

Enjoys other cats, though her enthusiasm can be a bit much for the older cats in her foster home

Minnow (female, gray tabby)
Calmer than Guppy, with a big heart for affection

Loves being held, petted, and soaking up one-on-one attention

Good with the foster’s other cats

A little shy with new faces and just needs some time to warm up

A Perfect Pair
These sisters are happiest together and make a wonderful bonded pair — the perfect “catch” for a loving home.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cats in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to partner with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8am - 6pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 2 pm Saturday. If you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet with any of our cats or kittens, please start by filling out an application (available online at www.fofct.org).

More about this rescue

Friends of Felines is dedicated to helping homeless and forgotten cats in our community by working with our neighbors. We do this through a humane Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program, rescuing strays, rehoming cats in bad situations, offering a responsible adoption program, and providing community education. Every cat we help is rescued locally. Based in Stamford, CT, Friends of Felines is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3).
