Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cooper (a/k/a Scooby Doo) — A Big Goofy Heart Looking for His Next Chapter! Cooper is a 1-year-old boy. His previous mom states that he is Shar-Pei / Staffordshire mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Weighing about 67 lbs, he’s full of life, love, and playful energy — the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being himself. This fun-loving guy is potty trained, crate trained, and has lived happily as an indoor dog with free roam of the house. He knows his basics like sit, stay, and lay down (especially when treats are involved!) He loves treats and takes them nicely. Cooper’s Favorite Things: Playing fetch and chasing balls. Water fun — kiddie pools, hoses, getting wet. Toys of all kinds (especially frisbees and balls). Big bones. Scratches, rubbies and hugs. Socks… especially socks. Cooper is affectionate, goofy, playful, and loves attention. He enjoys being petted, lounging on the couch with his people, and happily gets down when asked. He’s lived with other dogs and did well, but would do best in a home without cats, as he tends to chase them. Cooper is described as lovable, energetic, and full of life, with a fast run and a joyful spirit. He may be a bit excited when greeting new people at first, but once he gets a chance to sniff and settle, he’s friendly and very affectionate. However, his energy level and his size may not be the best fit if small children are in the home. If you’re looking for a young, active, people-loving dog who’s ready to be your adventure buddy, couch companion, and daily source of laughter — Cooper could be your perfect match. Come meet Cooper at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. ID# 59958472
