Nando is a protective & incredibly loving dog, which is why it has been difficult to part with him. He is very affectionate, loves kisses & rubs. My daughter originally planned to take him, but her housing does not allow pets of his size. We would love to keep him, our work schedules and our children's activities prevent us from giving him the time & attention he deserves.He hasn't been around other dogs as much but my daughter has been working on that. He does not chew on household items so our remotes & shoes have been safe.
He is clever enough to open doors.During thunderstorms or fireworks, he prefers to stay inside & has learned to use the shower to relieve himself if he is too nervous to go. Otherwise, he will bark to let you know when he needs to go out or come in. He understands basic commands & is always willing to learn. His favorite command is dance, which he will get on his hind legs and do a 2-step with you. He is getting used to car rides but tends to whine during one
