Gandalf was adopted from the local shelter three months ago with a stunning, full sheepadoodle coat. But he was returned recently in heartbreaking condition — so severely matted that the shelter had no choice but to shave him completely down. The only part that remained untouched? His iconic, expressive eyebrows.
And that’s how he earned his new name.
