We adopted Roscoe at the end of August 2025 from Sadie's Safe Harbor Adoption as a companion for our older Lab, Hank.
Roscoe will be 1 year old in January 2026. He is a Black-Lab/Blue Lacy mix per the records given to us. He is neutered and up to date on all shots.
Roscoe is crate trained, house broken, and is obedience trained with OFF, SIT, LEAVE IT, COME. He does well on leash, though we use a gentle leader.
Sadly, Roscoe has gotten more aggressive with our older dog, Hank, a 7 year old chocolate lab who is extremely submissive. Roscoe will randomly attack Hank, unprovoked, and have to be separated. Hank spends most of the day upstairs hiding from Roscoe, or Roscoe will be in his crate. Hank does not and has not attacked Roscoe at any time.
Roscoe is generally a good dog, but would likely do better in a home without other dogs, or perhaps female dogs, and without small children.
