My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Maple Pecan is temporarily living in a foster home until they find their family. If you would like to meet Maple, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Adoptions Specialists, so we can ensure they are here to meet you when you arrive. Please click “Adopt Maple Pecan” to complete an interest survey and one of our Adoptions Specialists will connect with you to set up an appointment!*

Maple Pecan is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who’s still learning how wonderful love can be. She’s very timid at first, but beneath her shy exterior is an incredibly sweet soul who just needs patience, kindness, and time to build her confidence.

Maple Pecan is calm, quiet, and well-mannered, making her a peaceful presence in the home. She has done well with both dogs and cats in the past and approaches the world with a gentle, thoughtful nature. With consistent reassurance and a safe environment, she begins to open up and show her loving side.

She’s looking for a home that understands that trust doesn’t happen overnight — but once it does, Maple Pecan will be a deeply loyal and devoted companion. If you’re ready to offer time, love, and a gentle hand, Maple Pecan will reward you with a bond that’s truly special.
