Meet Sparky and Gracie! This odd couple came to our shelter when their owner was moving and could not take them with. Sparky and Gracie are both in their golden years and have lived very full lives, but still have so much more life in them! Gracie absolutely adores her big brother Sparky and relies on him to be more brave. She can be just a little timid at first, but once her brother says everything`s ok, she warms right up. Gracie has a huge heart in a very tiny body. She loves to jump up on her back legs and ask politely for your love and attention. This sweet girl loves to rock a cute ponytail for her bangs, but could probably use a more thorough haircut! Although Gracie may be a senior and not have as much time left, she will love you unconditionally for the rest of her days. If you`re willing to open your home to two loving, adorable seniors, come visit Sparky and Gracie today!

Meet the Pet
The second step is to meet with pets you might be interested in adopting! Our staff and volunteers will tell you all about them.

Submit Application
Finally, fill out the adoption questionnaire. Our experienced adoption counselors will ensure it's a good fit for you and the pet!
4.
Take the Pet Home
If the adoption is a good fit, you get to take the pet home that day!

To adopt pets located at our adoption center, you must stop by during open adoption hours to start the process.
To adopt pets located at our partnering PetSmart stores, you must first visit the pet at the specific PetSmart store to start the process.
To adopt pets located in foster care, you must first submit an Anti-Cruelty Questionnaire (found on our website) to start the process.
To adopt pets located in our Home-to-Home Program, you must first contact the owner of the pet via the contact information provided in the pet's bio to start the process.
Adoption Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older for standard adoptions. Must have valid ID
Adoption fees are based on an animal's age and species.
Each adoption Includes:
1. Complete veterinary exam
2. Inoculations against rabies and other diseases
3. Heartworm test for dogs /Feline leukemia test for cats
4. Spaying or neutering (it's mandatory)
5. Collar
6. Lifetime ID tag
7. Permanent identification microchip
8. Dog leash or cat carrier
9. One month of free pet insurance for this important transitional period.
