Mogie has been with Coco’s a long while. She had given birth in the rain in a pile of limbs; she was a super mom to her own babies and several more orphaned kittens. Mogie was initially in a quiet foster home where she thrived; she was sweet, would lay in her foster’s lap and enjoyed attention from other family. Unfortunately, when Mogie was moved to the main rescue where there are many cats and lots of commotion it had a negative impact on her; she became scared and reclusive. In the past few months she has begun to come out of hiding and can be spotted at community bowls and beds during quiet times; she will chase and eat treats, and watch familiar people from a distance. Typically, Mogie would have to be labeled as a barn-cat, but her foster believes that in a quiet environment and with a little time and patience she would return to the sweet, purr-fect lady she once was. Mogie is beautiful with her cute short tail and lovely green eyes… and so deserving a chance at a home of her own.
