🍁 Meet Harvest — Your Clever, Chatty, Treat-Powered Sidekick! 🍁
Harvest is a young adult torbie beauty with the perfect fall palette — rich browns, blacks, pops of orange, and adorable white paws and chest. Those orange markings on her face? Absolutely illegal levels of cute. She’s spayed, confident, and fully aware that she’s the main character.
This girl is smart. Like… knows exactly where the treats are and will paw the cupboard until you comply smart. She’s also wildly curious and believes everything you do requires supervision. Cooking? Cleaning? Sitting down? Harvest is on the case.
✨ Personality Highlights
Harvest is adventurous, affectionate, goofy, and very communicative. She’ll greet you at the door with chirps and meows, talk to you about her day, and then follow you around to make sure you’re doing things correctly. She’s playful and athletic, loves springs, mice, and balls, and is an equal-opportunity napper — couches, beds, chairs, laps… all fair game.
💖 Affection Style
Harvest is a slow-pet kind of girl. She adores head rubs and gentle body pets and will roll on your foot for attention or grab your hand with her paw to guide you straight to her chin (she knows what she wants). She loves laying beside you for calm snuggles and will absolutely stand on your lap for Churus — no hesitation, no shame.
😂 Quirks We Love
• Will nibble your toes when you try to leave the room because she’s not done with you yet
• Extremely food-motivated (Churus = religion, Temptations = lifestyle)
• Very talkative and expressive
• Not a fan of sudden movements or rough scritchy scratches — she prefers respect and vibes
🐾 Her Story
Harvest came to us as a very pregnant mama from animal control and raised four big, healthy babies like a champ. She was attentive, loving, and even played with her kittens. Now it’s her turn to be spoiled and doted on.
🍽️ Current Menu
Sheba pâté or Made By Nacho wet food + Purina One Adult dry
If you’re looking for a clever, confident, affectionate cat who will talk to you, supervise your life, steal your heart, and absolutely manipulate you for treats — Harvest is your girl. 🍂🐾

More about this rescue
🐾 Our Mission at Billy the Kidden Rescue 🐾
Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.
💙 Our Heart is in TNR
We are proud advocates of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)—the humane, effective method of managing community cats. Through this program, feral cats are:
✔️ Trapped
✔️ Neutered or Spayed
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Ear-Tipped (as a universal sign they've been fixed)
✔️ Returned to live safely in their outdoor colonies without contributing to overpopulation.
We are actively working to promote legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads.
🐱 Feral Kitten Socialization
Our feral kitten socialization program is one of a kind—with a 90% success rate in helping feral-born kittens become affectionate, in-home pets. Through experienced fostering, patience, and love, these kittens learn to trust, play, and thrive indoors.
💪 Get Involved!
We’re always looking for passionate animal lovers to join our team. Help us make a difference by becoming a:
Foster
Volunteer
Transporter
TNR Trapper
🎁 Support Our Work
Donations keep our rescue running, and we’re always in need of supplies! Check out our wish lists to see what’s needed most:
