Hi…I’m Val, aka Valley Girl. I’m looking for someone extra special that has lots of patience and is willing to give me time to feel comfortable in my new home. I really am a sweet girl! I’m super smart and like to play with teaser toys, the laser, and most anything that moves. I really need a kitty friend as I have a hard time letting down my guard around people but cats give me confidence! I’m often found sitting beside or napping with my foster friend, Trixie. While I won’t come sit in your lap, I will jump up next to you (when I think you’re not looking) and I like to be in close proximity to my foster mom. When I’m feeling really brave, I go to my special spot and wait for slow, gentle pets. That really gets my purr motor going! A little tip, canned food is a great way to get me to come running. Hopefully with time, and the right person, that last stubborn part of my guarded wall will crumble! Do you think you can help me with that?
