Tucker is a 7-month-old, 35 lb Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his adorable, uniquely marked face. He was rescued from the South LA City Shelter after arriving with a broken front leg. Sadly, the leg couldn’t be saved and required amputation—but Tucker hasn’t let that stop him for a second. He truly doesn’t know the difference!
This happy, spirited boy is active and fun, keeping up with his four-legged friends and even sprinting right alongside them. He greets everyone with his award-winning smile, and nothing slows him down. Tucker is well-mannered in the home, fully potty trained, and walks nicely on leash. He loves getting out for adventures and exploring the world around him.
Tucker is a social pup who enjoys playing with other dogs and thrives with activity. He’ll do best in a home that’s excited to continue his outings, basic training, and provide some fun mental enrichment to keep his clever mind engaged.
With his loving personality, playful energy, and striking looks, Tucker is completely irresistible. He’s expected to be around 50 lbs when fully grown and is ready for a family who can keep up with his joyful spirit and give him the active, happy life he deserves. We are a foster based animal rescue located in Southern California. Our goal is to work with local animal shelters that are overpopulated so we may lessen the amount of animals being euthanized unnecessarily. We are 100% volunteer based.
