My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edith is a very sweet senior Cane Corso who was disposed of in Waukegan after a lifetime of being used and discarded. She is estimated to be 11–13 years old and has endured years of overbreeding, neglect, and cruelty no animal should ever know.

All Edith wants now is a soft bed, gentle hands, and to know that she matters. She absolutely loves quiet pets and cuddling, and despite everything she has been through, she remains forgiving, resilient, and full of grace.

Edith is nearly sixty pounds underweight, yet somehow unfazed by her past. She is simply ready for the good life she has deserved all along. She is asking for comfort, kindness, and a home where she can spend whatever time she has left feeling safe and loved.

Please help us give Edith the ending she deserves. Whether through adoption, fostering, sharing her story, or supporting her care, you can be the reason this chapter of her life is filled with love.
