Kevin has been through more in his short life than any dog ever should, and he needs a safe place immediately.
Kevin is a young boy who originally came into care after being hit by a car. His left elbow was so severely damaged that his front leg had to be amputated to save him from constant pain. Even after everything, he has remained the sweetest, most trusting pup.
Last week, he was surrendered again through no fault of his own. There is a lot of instability around his previous home, and for Kevin’s safety we are urgently trying to move him out of the Childress area and into a stable, loving environment.
About Kevin:
• 10 months old
• 37 lbs
• Black and white pittie mix
• Neutered and fully vaccinated (DAPPL, Rabies, Bordetella)
• Heartworm negative
• Treated for fleas/ticks and fully dewormed
• Great with dogs and people
• Sweet, resilient, and ready for a fresh start
Kevin has had a rough life, but you would never know it from his gentle spirit. He just wants someone to love him and give him a safe space to land.
We are urgently searching for a foster or foster-to-adopt home.
He can be transported anywhere for the right family or foster.

We have an Adoption Application to be completed by potential adopters. We are 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We do not have a set adoption fee, but we do accept donations at the time of adoption. We follow up with adopters, making sure the adoption was a good fit, that all is working out. Our application specifies, if adoption & it does not work out for any reason, that we take bring the pet back into our rescue.
