We are looking to rehome our sweet girl, Lola. She has been an incredibly loyal companion and truly has a wonderful temperament. Lola is affectionate, loving, and deeply devoted to her people — she’s been a huge part of our lives.
With a busy household that now includes a 7-month-old baby and full work schedules with commute challenges, we’ve realized that we’re struggling to balance baby, work, and giving Lola the time, structure, and outlets she deserves. Lola is very energetic and, despite our efforts with training and behavior support, her enthusiasm can be a bit too much around our daughter.
Lola does have chronic anal gland issues and is currently scheduled for anal gland removal surgery in mid-February. We would love to find her a new home before the surgery, but we are fully committed to covering the cost so she can continue to be healthy and comfortable.
Because she has been an important part of our family, ideally we would love to receive occasional updates.
