My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chile!

Chile is an adult male chinchilla who came to our rescue after being abandoned. Despite his rough start, he’s a curious and energetic little guy with a big love for exploring and climbing around his multi-story cage. Watching him hop, perch, and investigate his surroundings is a joy!

Chile would do best with a family that has prior chinchilla experience and understands his unique needs. He doesn’t mind gentle pets, but is less comfortable being held. Chile will thrive with someone who respects his boundaries and lets him interact on his own terms.

If you’re looking for an active, entertaining companion and have the experience to give him the care he deserves, Chile may be the perfect fit for you.
