My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is an 8 month old chihuahua-dachshund mix with a personality larger than his size. He can be shy at first but does not take long to come out of his shell. He does wonderful with other dogs but prefers his human companions. He will need some training but is a very smart boy. He has mastered the doggie door and is puppy pad trained. He is about 14lbs and won't get much bigger.

Jasper is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

More about this rescue

At Wild West Pet Rescue and Transport, our mission is to relocate pets from the saturated areas of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, to areas where there are more opportunities for adoption. We provide safe, compassionate, and effective rescue and transportation services for animals in need. We strive to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or displaced pets, focusing on those most at risk of euthanasia and in need of medical care. Through collaboration with shelters, volunteers, and local organizations, we aim to reduce the number of homeless animals and advocate for their well-being.
