Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Glinda is a gentle and affectionate dog who thrives on human companionship. Her favorite activity is getting cuddles, especially face kisses and hugs. She is happiest when spending quiet time with her person and receiving plenty of love and attention. She may be 50+ lbs but she is still a total lap dog. She`s pretty low energy and is more of a couch potato than an athlete.
She is very well-behaved on walks and enjoys exploring her surroundings with calm curiosity. Glinda is highly food-motivated and appreciates the occasional treat.
Glinda would do best in a home without cats and may be reactive around other dogs, so a single-pet household would be ideal. I think she could do well with a fur sibling, it would just need to be a slower introduction. But she`s definitely looking to be someone`s side kick and bff. She does well when left at home and doesn`t seem to suffer from any separation anxiety, especially when she has a big bed to pass the time in.
When Glinda came to the shelter as a stray, she had a skin infection called demedox. We are down to one medicated bath a week and shes looking like a whole new dog! She is so patient and cooperative when having her bathes. I think she would do really well with children as she is very gentle and sweet with people.
