Meet Captain Nubbins! Captain Nubbins is a fearless 4-year-old domestic shorthair with a big personality packed into a very distinguished little body. Known for his commanding presence and expert supervision of all household activities, he takes his duties seriously—especially naps, meals, and morale. When he’s not patrolling his territory, Captain Nubbins enjoys lounging in sunbeams, judging silently from across the room, and reminding everyone who’s really in charge.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
