My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shark. Rescued from the South Side Slopes as a little baby with his siblings and momma, you'd never know he started his life on the streets.

Shark is a total sweetheart! He loves people, loves cuddling, loves being played with and is destined to be a lap kitty. But he's still got that kitten energy and greatly enjoys running and wrestling with his brother (or sister) and chasing toys. He is affectionate and loyal and will win you over if you give him the time to get used to a new space or new people. He's soft and is quick to purr when getting pets. He has a very dashing white patch on his chest and even has subtle stripes to match his redheaded siblings. He has been patient and sweet with children and was curious about the dog he was exposed to. Shark will steal your heart! He would prefer to be adopted with his sister Clementine.

Shark is about 3.5 months old, neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
