Kizmet is a stunning three-year-old ginger girl who has already been on quite a journey. She was originally surrendered to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions in December when her person had to move. She was adopted quickly, but recently returned—through no fault of her own. Sometimes it just isn’t the right fit, and we’re determined to help Kizmet find the loving home she truly deserves. Third time’s the charm ✨

Kizmet has a gentle, sensitive soul and a big personality that shines once she feels safe. She is well socialized, generally quiet, and active in a thoughtful, playful way. Like many sensitive cats, she may hide at first while adjusting to a new environment, but with patience and consistency she blossoms into an affectionate companion who enjoys curling up in your lap or sleeping in bed with her person 🛏️🧡

She loves interactive, hunting-style play and has occasional bursts of energy 🐭🎯. Kizmet uses scratching posts, may hop up on counters, and appreciates regular playtime. She does not enjoy being picked up and is very clear about her boundaries—communicating through body language, gentle signals, or the occasional play nibble when she’s feeling overstimulated. She’s excellent at telling you how she feels, and does best with someone who understands and respects cat cues 🐾

Kizmet likes both men and women and would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home. She does not get along well with other cats and would be happiest as the only pet, where she can fully relax and be herself 🌿
