My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheddar!

Cheddar is a sweet and affectionate young boy who loves nothing more than being around humans. At just 8 months old and weighing around 54 pounds, he`s full of youthful energy and ready to be a loyal companion.

He’s good with most dogs and has a gentle, friendly nature. Cheddar isn’t a big barker, making him a great fit for various living situations. He’s a playful pup who especially loves to play ball—almost always with a ball in his mouth! Whether he`s chasing after a toy or relaxing by your side, Cheddar is a wonderful companion.

He’s also great in the car, making him an excellent travel buddy for adventures and outings.

If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and playful addition to your family, Cheddar might just be the perfect match!

Cheddar`s Transport fee has been sponsored by a generous donor!!

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
