Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Auron! A roughly 2 year-old, 85 lb, purebred German Shepherd. He is a wonderfully playful and extremely smart boy that instantly befriends anyone who plays fetch with him. He is up to date on all vaccines and his records can be faxed from our local vet clinic.
Yet the good boy has been an unfortunate victim of circumstance. We only recently adopted him from another private individual on adoptapet, and due to GS's common fear of storms and new environment anxiety, he bit me.
I chalk this up to our inexperience as pet owners. Having been around GSs my whole life I was likely too comfortable. I could tell it was out of fear and not aggression, given the mildness. Since, he has shown no aggression even during other storms. However, given the prospects of bringing a child into our home, my fiancé is not comfortable keeping him. We are doing our best to find him a forever home, and have been contacting local shelters to no avail.
I know he can be someone's best friend, just not ours.
