Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Located in the Des Moines Area*
Meet Georgia! Mom was a GSD & dad was a Malinois/Dutchie mix. All the puppies in this litter are high drive and high energy. They will need experienced homes that will give them a job to do. They will need owners that have the time and resources to commit to training and exercising them. Georgia is a people-loving pup with a desire to please! Sweet-natured and preferring human company.
Georgia is eager to learn and highly trainable! She already knows "sit," is working on "lay down" and "stand," and is mastering potty training, having even started using the potty bell. Her love for using her nose has made her a natural at nose work, and she shows great promise in learning new skills.
Georgia’s Ideal Match:
• Positive Reinforcement: She is eager to please and trains easily, responding well to an owner who uses patience and positive methods.
• Calm and Confident Handling: She's a pro at nail dremmeling and general handling, making grooming a breeze. She’s looking for a home that will continue to build her confidence with new sights and sounds.
• The Tug-of-War Enthusiast: While not a big ball fan, Georgia loves a good game of tug! She’d be thrilled to have a partner to share her favorite game.
• Structure and Routine: She's learning quickly and needs a home committed to continuing her training and providing consistent routines.
If you’re looking for a sweet, trainable, and high energy girl who is all about making you happy, Georgia is the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue
Founded in 2005, we are a volunteer home-based rescue group run by dedicated volunteers. Our dogs live in volunteer homes as family members with the same love, care and attention they would receive in an adoptive home.
We provide training, socialization, vet care and evaluation for all of the dogs in our care. All of our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
GSDRI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization licensed by the state of Iowa.
