Rex is a 3 year old red tegu. We believe he is a male at this point. His previous owner did a great job with socializing him and he is able to be held, however, he also really enjoys his own time to wander around and check out his surroundings. Rex had been eating a variety of meats, greens, fruits and other veggies. So far, he has been a silly boy who likes to roam through his blanket that his previous owner sent him with and tends to fall asleep in there. We are hoping to get better pictures of Rex in the near future, as well as update with more of his personality traits! Rex came into our rescue on December 17, and will be ready to go to his forever home on January 17.
This animal requires an 8’x4’x4’ size enclosure. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry.

We will reach out and ensure you have the proper set up for the animal so both you and the pet are set up for success.

Sign Adoption Contract
At the time you sign the contract, the adoption fee is due.

All adopters submit an inquiry after finding a pet they are interested in. We will then go through any inquiries and ensure the animal will be going to a suitable home (photo proof of enclosure set up is required). From there, we will be in touch about setting up a time for potential adopters to meet the animal. Adopters will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and take the pet home.
