Jax is a fun, enthusiastic dog with a medium-to-high energy level and a whole lot of potential. He’s looking for an active, committed family who can keep up with his energy and help him continue learning and growing. Jax can live in a single-family home, condo, or possibly an apartment, as long as he receives plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Jax would do best in a home with children over 10 years old who are gentle and respectful with pets. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would be happy to have a likeminded canine friend. While he hasn’t had much experience with cats, he may be willing to share his home with them given slow, thoughtful introductions. This playful guy loves a variety of toys, including chew balls and rings, squeaky toys, and rope toys. He is crate trained and doing well, but he is still working on being fully house trained. Jax already knows “sit” and “down” and is eager to continue learning. Because Jax is still in training, he will need a family with energetic dog experience who is committed to continuing his education. Obedience training is required to help him start off on the right paw and become the best companion he can be. If you’re an active household ready to provide exercise, structure, and positive training, Jax could be an amazing addition to your family. He’s ready to learn, ready to play, and ready to find his next loving home! Fill out an adoption application today to learn more about Jax from one of our adoption counselors!
