Canelo is a friendly and adaptable dog who is great in the car and loves to be on the go. He weighs approximately 50 pounds and is around 3 years old. He really is a sweetheart.
He enjoys playing with balls and is currently learning to walk nicely on a leash. Canelo has a gentle nature and is good with some dogs, making him a great addition to a household with canine friends. However, he does not do well with cats, so a feline-free home is preferred.

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
