My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a handsome, affectionate German Shepherd who’s potty trained, pretty good on a leash, and always ready to learn—he knows sit, down, shake, and might even know “speak.”

He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially larger ones who like to play. Cats are an unknown. Harley loves walks and keeping an eye on what’s going on outside—think of him as your friendly neighborhood watch.

He likes kids, but would do best with older ones who understand that sometimes he needs his space. Harley is still recovering from his rough past, but he’s blossoming into a happy, loyal companion who adores his people.

If you’re looking for a loving sidekick with a watchful eye and a playful heart, Harley is your guy!

He is located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
