Meet Kringle, a Setter mix puppy, born around 10/23/25, and he’s basically a professional cuddle bug with a side job as a shoelace saboteur. This sweet boy loves attention, and will happily nuzzle his way right under your neck for maximum snuggle efficiency. When he’s not cuddling, Kringle is in full playbug mode, romping with his siblings, wrestling with puppy toys, and investigating anything within reach (especially your shoes… RIP laces). He’s curious, goofy, and full of happy puppy energy. Now let’s talk about his first true love: food! Treats, meals, snacks — if it’s edible, Kringle is interested. This legendary appetite is exactly how he earned his name, and it also makes him a wonderful candidate for his future training. Kringle is just starting out with the basics, so he’ll need a family who is home a lot, and ready to guide him through all the important puppy lessons — with patience, consistency, and plenty of snacks (his favorite). He would love a fenced in yard to run and play in. He should be around 45 pounds when fully grown. He is current on his vaccines and his adoption fee will include his future neuter and microchip. Carolina P.A.W.S. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of compassionate Carolinians, all of whom are volunteers. We are devoted to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs throughout the greater Charlotte area find loving homes. CPAWS does not have a facility and relies entirely on volunteer foster parents to care for an animal until we are able to find a pet their forever home. Our founding members have been collectively involved in animal rescue for over 20 years.
Carolina P.A.W.S. volunteers can be found "in the trenches," rescuing animals at high risk- those starving on the streets, languishing in shelters, and suffering in abusive situations. Each animal has a different past but our promise to them all is the same…a second chance. We provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them physically and emotionally, and care for them in foster homes until they can be placed in loving permanent homes.
Along the way, we prepare them to become wonderful companions by taking the time to socialize them and patiently teaching them to trust. We also spay/neuter each one, provide all inoculations, and ensure that they are in perfect health before being made available for adoption.
