Meet Snow-white – Your Real-Life Fairy Tale Pup
Once upon a time, in a rural county far, far away… a tiny white puppy was found curled up in a bed on the side of the road. She was injured, underweight, and unsure of the world—but she had a spark. That spark is Snow-white, and her happily-ever-after is still waiting.
Snow-white is a Hound/Jack Russell mix, born around March 17, 2025, currently 25 lbs and expected to grow to about 40 lbs. She’s a leggy, athletic girl with a short, easy-care coat and a heart that’s grown even bigger than her paws.
Despite starting life with a fractured kneecap and some tough odds, Snow-white has shown incredible resilience. With rest, good food, lots of love, and expert veterinary care, she’s now walking, running, jumping, and playing like the joyful 9-month-old puppy she is. Her doctors expect a full release after one final X-ray—and honestly, she’s already convinced she’s invincible.
Personality & Quirks
Snow-white is sweet, sensitive, and full of puppy enthusiasm. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she decides you’re her person, you’re her person. She loves men and women alike and bonds deeply with her humans. Raised voices hurt her feelings, and she truly wants to be a “good girl.”
She’s:
* Obsessed with cheese (her love language)
* A connoisseur of Himalayan yak chews
* A car-ride superfan who enjoys sightseeing and long naps
* Weirdly enchanted by Christmas lights
* Happy to play hard and curl up for a nap during movie night
Social Life
Snow-white LOVES other dogs and plays enthusiastically—sometimes too enthusiastically. She’s learning boundaries and may need reminders to take playtime down a notch. She hasn’t been exposed to cats or kids yet, so slow introductions would be best.
Home Life
* House trained with a consistent schedule
*Crate trained at night, but protests briefly when crated while you leave (treats help!)
*Walks well on leash but still pulls—training in progress
* A known counter surfer and joyful jumper (we’re working on “down”)
* Very much a puppy: chewing, exploring, and testing limits included
Snow-white would do best with an adopter who understands puppies need training, patience, structure, and love—and who’s ready to laugh when she steals your sandwich or jumps up to say hello.
The Bottom Line
Snow-white is a survivor, a goofball, and a total sweetheart who’s overcome so much and still greets the world with excitement and hope. She deserves a family who will continue her journey, help her grow, and love her for the amazing dog she’s becoming.
If you’re ready for a puppy who will steal your heart, your cheese, and probably your spot on the couch
Snow-white is ready to meet you.
