My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

So my name is Pousa, which means cat in Tagalog. And that is what I am. But oh what a cat! I am really a character. I sauntered into a kind lady’s garden in Amman, Jordan when I was barely three months old. Somehow, I knew it was going to be a good place to be. I automatically went up to her, and made myself at home, being the social butterfly that I am. She found me so charming that she knew I just needed to find a home. That was when CDA was contacted to find me a home in the United States.

I’m about 4-5 months old, fully vaccinated, and neutered. I am good with people and cats, and judging by my friendly and outgoing character, I may even be good with a polite and friendly dog. I am really a special kitten; you can tell by the single black dot under my chin that I am one of a kind.

I am sure to make you happy if you welcome me into your home.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

First, we have a chat with the potential adopter to see if they are eligible to fill out an adoption application.

2.

Submit Application

After we have a chat, if we feel like the adopter shows promise, we offer them an adoption application.

3.

Home Check

If their application gets approved, we conduct another video call where we do a home walk-through.

4.

Approve Application

If all goes well, then we will proceed with approving the application.

Additional adoption info

We conduct our interviews in video form so that we can gain a better idea of whether or not the applicant is eligible for consideration in adopting one of our rescue animals. If we feel that the person may be a good fit, we will do a meet and greet with the rescue they are interested in adopting,
