History: Lola is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Lola is a 7.5-year-old, 11.5-pound sweetheart who came to Coco’s Heart in the middle of December and settled into her foster home like she’d been there forever. Sweet as can be and a first-class cuddler, Lola’s favorite place is right next to her people, soaking up all the love she can get.
She’s great with other dogs and has seemed to adore every adult she’s met so far. While she hasn’t had the chance to meet children yet, her gentle and affectionate nature suggests she’d be a loving companion in the right home. Lola is also discovering the joy of toys and is happily learning how to play—proof that this little lady still has plenty of life and curiosity left in her!
Lola does wonderfully on a leash and would not need a fenced in yard as long as she is leashed at all times to ensure her safety. She’s doing very well with potty training and, if left alone for several hours, will reliably use a potty pad if needed. She can handle stairs with ease and jumps on the couch without a problem as long as there's a dog bed that provides a few extra inches of height for her.
