Meet Vader and Jolene, two wonderful dogs who came to us as owner surrenders through no fault of their own. They were living in a situation where dogs are often dumped, and the kindhearted homeowner does her best to help by finding them safe places and loving homes—a reality that sadly happens far too often here in Alabama. When help was needed, Big Dog Ranch opened its doors to give Vader and Jolene the chance they deserved.
Since arriving at the ranch, both Vader and Jolene have shown just how special they are. They are very friendly, playful, and always happy to meet new people. Their cheerful personalities and loving nature make them a joy to be around, and they quickly win hearts wherever they go.
They have received all of their medical care, along with endless love and affection from our team. While they are safe and cared for here, both Vader and Jolene are longing for homes of their own—families who will love them forever and give them the happy ending they’ve been waiting for. 🐾💕

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All of the donations made go to benefit the dogs whether its food, vet care, supplies, medications, toys, dog beds, etc. Please visit our help page on our website for more information on what donations we need and also how to donate.

This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
