My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Howard Lake, MN

Hi there, my name is French Silk…. And I like warm hugs! I also like “rough housing” with my brothers and foster family. I’m pretty independent for a guy my age. I like to go off and explore my surroundings. It’s easy to do because I’m like a stealthy shadow. You won’t know I’m gone until you hear the mischief I am getting into. I’m an explorer at heart.

Did I mention I am extremely soft? I know my fur looks black but it actually has reddish highlights at the tips, kinda cool huh? The tips of my toes on my back legs look like they were dipped in icing.

Right now I live with my foster Mom, my 5 brothers, my Mom, my Foster Mom’s 3 dogs, a little human, and big humans. Everything is smooth as French Silk. It’s fun being in such a big group; I’m never bored. I don’t need to be around them all the time either. It’s a nice option though.

I really want to find my forever family. Will you take me on an adventure?

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
