Meet Zeke, a sweet and shy dog who currently calls the shelter his temporary home. Despite his reserved nature, Zeke has a gentle soul and yearns for a quiet corner in a loving home. He might take a little while to warm up, but once he does, he’s a loyal and affectionate companion. Zeke would thrive in a calm environment where he can slowly come out of his shell. Adopting Zeke means giving him the chance to show just how much love he can give to his forever family.

More about this shelter
We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
